Rare program to the 1943 National Football League Championship Game played at Wrigley Field in Chicago on December 26, 1943. The game pitted the Western Champion Chicago Bears(8-1-1) against the Eastern Champion Washington Redskins(6-3-1), in what would be their 3rd meeting in the last 4 years. In freezing late December Chicago weather, the Bears defeated the Redskins 41-21 in a game writers dubbed the "Ice Bowl". 36 page program itself appears to be in near perfect condition with very few minor flaws. Program loaded with a player photos, rosters, articles, league standings, statistics, NFL rules, World War II content, and numerous interesting period ads, many military oriented. Program has not been scored. Another early NFL Championship program in absolutely beautiful condition!
