Lovely 1943 New York Giants team signed ONL (Frick) baseball offered here. Among the 20 autographs are Hall of Famers Mel Ott (manager), Carl Hubbell, Joe Medwick (SS) and Ernie Lombardi as well as Ace Adams, Van Mungo (SS), Jurges, Fischer, Berres, Witek, East, J. Allen, Bartell, Sid Gordon, Witteg, Melton, Ken Chase, Gus Mancuso and Rucker. One name is smudged but most of the others are cleanly done in bold black ink averaging 7-8/10. Ott, Medwick and Lombardi are each 8-9/10. The pure, shellac-free ball (EM/NM) has a nice off-white tone with no signs of scuffing. Dated "8/18/43" in unknown hand and sourced from the family of a NYC restaurateur. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
