Rare program to the 1942 National Football League Championship Game played at Griffith Stadium in Washington, DC on December 13, 1942. The game pitted the undefeated Western Champion Chicago Bears(11-0) against the Eastern Champion Washington Redskins(10-1). The Redskins won a tight 14-6 victory keeping the Bears from taking their 3rd title in a row and avenging their humiliating 73-0 loss from 2 years before. 38 page program itself in great condition with a few light creases here and there. Program loaded with a few player photos, rosters, articles, league standings, statistics, NFL rules, Redskin facsimile autographs, and numerous interesting period ads. Program has not been scored. Another early NFL Championship program in beautiful condition!
