Type-written letter on New York Yankees letterhead is dated July 28, 1942 and signed by Yankees President Ed Barrow in dark black fountain pen ink (9/10). Letter is written to Detroit Tigers general manager Jack Zeller and thanks him for consenting to the cancellation of a spring training game and helping him “out of a jam with the St. Louis Club.” Page has original mailing folds, EX-MT. Double matted. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
