Dated September 12, 1942, Ruth's check, drawn on his Chemical Bank & Trust Company account has been filled out and signed "G.H. Ruth" in dark black fountain pen ink, rating 9/10. Paid to the order of "B.F. Curry" in the amount of $8.80, this aesthetically superior signed Ruth check is in great condition with cancellation marks nowhere near the autograph.
