Presented is a vintage 1940's advertising display that portrays that timeless bond between Coca-Cola and baseball. Ted Williams appears above text announcing the Franklin Dodgers will be playing him at Hayden High School Park. Teddy Ballgame signed the piece in red ink that nearly matches the color of his art deco likeness. We have never seen another version of this rare sign autographed in by Ted Williams, and this one is autographed in a way that playfully suggests that the Franklin Dodgers are playing against Ted Williams. So far as our consigner and we are aware, this is the only known example in existence. The piece itself measures 13.5x21.5" and has been professionally mounted and framed behind UV protective glass. The piece presents in near mint condition.
