Interesting 1939 Base-Ball Centennial Philadelphia Athletics 1929 World Championship reunion 10K Gold ring presented to pitcher George Earnshaw. Earnshaw pitched 6 years for the Athletics, going 98-58, with 3 20 game winning seasons. In 8 World Series starts he went 4-3 with a 1.58 ERA. Top of ring has a raised image of a baseball player batting inside a baseball diamond. Along the four base paths is written "BASE-BALL", CENTENNIAL", "1839", and "1939". Home plate is a real 1 point diamond. One side of the ring has "1929" with the other having a raised "A's" logo. Inside of ring stamped "10K" and engraved "GEORGE EARNSHAW". Ring size 11 3/4. Weight 8 grams.

7/24/97 Letter from REA stating the ring originated from the estate of a longtime MLB executive.
