Interesting book for stamps. The front of the cover, Major 1st Events in A Century of baseball one side of baseball has 1839 other side 1939. By Edwina Guilfor Illustrated by Al.Demaree Baseball's own cartoonist. Copyright 1939 by C.E. Line. One of these booklets is blank the other is complete with stamps. Stamped booklet is G-VG shape with wear to the cover, second booklet is VG with one inside page having come loose from the staples. In addition, this lot contains the Official program Doubleday Field "The Birthplace of Baseball" Centennial Edition 1839-1939. The book is missing pages 19, 20, 21 and 22. The overall condition of the program is rated as good.
