This 1939 American Legion decorative medal with original ribbon is attributed to Judge Kennesaw Mountain Landis’, though it's provenance is not documented. Issued for the “21st National Convention” in Chicago, this very fine quality medallion features a relief of General Pershing with enamelwork American Legion logo at bottom. The top portion features a window showing the handwritten name “K.M. Landis” in period ink. The full top to bottom length of the medal is 3 ½”. It is stamped “Greenduck Co., Chi.” on the back. EX-MT condition.
