Full unused ticket from the 1938 World Series, Game 4 at Yankee Stadium. Slabbed "AUTHENTIC" by PSA, this is one of only three ever encapsulated. Only one has received a number grade (GD 2), making this an extremely rare ticket. Colors remain strong despite some toning on the front around the perimeter and a vertical crease down the middle The Yankees beat the Cubs, 8-3, to complete the sweep and earn their second straight (7th overall) World Series title. It would be Lou Gehrig’s final appearance in the World Series as the dreaded disease that bears his name would force him into early retirement the following season. A rare and important piece of baseball history indeed.
