Rare program to the 1938 National Football League Championship Game played at the Polo Grounds in New York City on December 11, 1938. The game pitted the Western Champion Green Bay Packers(8-3) against the Eastern Champion New York Giants(8-2-1). In their 4th NFL Championship game since the league splint into 2 divisions in 1933, the Giants won a close 23-17 contest to become the first team to win 2 NFL titles under the new format. 12 page program itself in nice, medium, VG condition with some light creases here and there. Program features a few player photos, rosters for both teams, articles, league standings, a load of statistics, NFL rules and several period ads. Program has not been scored. Another early NFL Championship program in very presentable condition!
