1938 All-Star Game program for the contest played at Crosley Field in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 6, 1938. Joe Medwick and Ernie Lombardi drove in a run a piece and 4 different American League Hall of Famer's made errors in the field, as the National League won for just the 2nd time in 6 tries, 4-1. Johnny VanderMeer, Bill Lee, and Mace Brown threw 3 innings a piece for the victorious national League squad. Program loaded with player photos, articles, statistics, and period ads. It has been neatly scored in ink. Program insides very clean and in great condition. Cover itself in fairly nice condition with some soiling along spine, which has split from the bottom to the first staple.
