The 1937 Yankees ran away with the American League pennant, winning by a whopping 13 games over the Detroit Tigers, then went on to dominate the New York Giants 4-1 in the World Series. Presented here is a matted display that features a pair of 4-1/4” by 5-1/2” mounted album pages featuring a combined 22 signatures. Among them are Hall of Famers Lou Gehrig, Tony Lazzeri, Red Ruffing and Lefty Gomez. The signatures of DiMaggio, Gomez (second signature on yellow page), Hoag, Chandler and Malone have been deemed clubhouse. The display also feature an 8” by 10” team photo inscribed by manager Joe McCarthy to noted autograph collector Tom Eakin. All autographs are in black ink and are quite bold.
