Very tough to find card of Rogers Hornsby the greatest hitter in National League history and 2nd only to Ty Cobb overall. Winner of 7 Batting Titles by 1937 Hornsby was finishing up his active career as player/manager of the St. Louis Browns. Due to the fact the cards are die cut and meant to be punched out then folded over high grade examples are few and far between. Sharp image with no additional ceasing other than along fold. Very minor stain on lower left corner. Hornsby is the last card in the set only 8 have been graded higher.
