Full unused ticket from the 1936 World Series, Game 5 at Yankee Stadium. Slabbed "AUTHENTIC" by PSA, this is one of only four fulls ever encapsulated. Only two of those received number grades (VG 3 and VG-EX 4), but both have qualifiers giving them about the same value as this one. Four small pinholes (two on each side) prevent this EX looking ticket from attaining any grade higher than AUTHENTIC. The Yankees lost to the New York Giants, 5-4, in 10 innings before taking the series in six games to secure their fifth World Championship. It started an unprecedented streak of four straight World Series titles for the Bronx Bombers thanks to Gehrig, Lazzeri, DiMaggio, Dickey and co. An extremely rare ticket from an exciting World Series between cross-town rivals.
