NM overall looking 1936 S&S Game card set with both direction cards and the elusive paper thin contest card. Set was purchased by consignor from Wholesale Cards Company in the early 1970's. Almost half of the set is made up of Hall of Fame players. They are: Appling, Averill, Cronin, Cuyler, Dickey, R. Ferrell, Foxx, Frisch, Gehringer, Hartnett, Herman, Hubbell, Klein, Medwick, Ott, Traynor, Vaughan, L. Waner, and P. Waner.
