Nice looking program 1936 NFL Championship Game held on December 13, 1936, at the Polo Grounds in New York City between the Green bay packers(10-1-1) and Boston Redskins(7-5). This was the first NFL title game played on a neutral field. Boston Redskins' owner George Preston Marshall moved the game from Fenway Park in Boston to New York after he announced plans to re-locate the Redskins to Washington, D. C. for the 1937 season. Both teams were making their first NFL title game appearance. The favored Packers, under legendary coach Curly Lambeau, defeated the Redskins easily 21-6. 8 page program has a few player photos, complete rosters, load of stats, a couple of articles, NFL rules, and a few period ads. Program is in very nice condition but probably rates only about VG because of a light vertical crease that runs down the center. On the center page it has been neatly scored in pencil with some additional pencil notes at the top.
