OAL (Harridge) baseball signed by 21 members of the 1936 World Champion New York Yankees ball club. A new centerfielder, Joe DiMaggio, captured AL Rookie of the Year honors by batting .323 with 29 homers and 125 RBI. Gehrig pounded out 49 homers and drove in 151 runs, tops on the team which had five regulars drive in over 100. The Yanks captured the World Series title by defeating the New York Giants 4 games to 2. Hall of Fame signatures are Lou Gehrig, Tony Lazzeri, Joe DiMaggio, Earle Combs and Lefty Gomez. Others include Frank Crosetti, Johnny Murphy, George Selkirk, Johnny Broaca, Art Fletcher, Joe Glenn, Bump Hadley, Roy Johnson, Art Jorgens, Pat Malone, Jake Powell, Jack Saltzgaver, Bob Seeds and Kemp Wicker. Bill Dickey and Red Ruffing have been deemed Clubhouse versions. Ball is heavily toned under a coating of shellac. Signatures range from 2-5/10 with Gehrig (5/10) among the best.
