Rare program for the 1933 National Football League Championship game held on December 17, 1933 at Wrigley Field in Chicago. This would be the first scheduled Championship game since the National Football League's founding in 1920. The Western Division Champion Chicago Bears(10–2–1) faced the Eastern Division Champion New York Giants(11–3). In a close, hard fought contest the Bears scored the winning touchdown with less than two minutes to go in the fourth quarter to take a 23–21 victory. This would be the Bears' 2nd championship in a row and third overall NFL title overall for coach/owner George Halas. 4 Page program contains full rosters of each team, league standings, and several period ads both inside and on the back. Program itself in about GD condition with numerous crease, light stains on one inside page, and the quarter by quarter score written in pencil on the inside. A very rare, acceptable condition example of the program from the first scheduled NFL Championship game!
