This card is the King of the "Kings". The Sport Kings set is the most popular multi-sport set ever produced and this #2 Ruth card is it's heaviest hitter. The back of the card states "Home Run King is the greatest hero of the game of baseball". Ruth looms large on the offered example with an outstanding image rendered in rich color. The corners are square with only scant traces of wear. A well-centered image contributes to the overall aesthetic quality of this prominent pre-war card.
