Lefty Stewart played in the majors for ten years, his finest season being 1933, the year this Goudey card appeared. That summer, Stewart won 15 games for the Senators as they won their first pennant since 1925. Though his career ended in 1935, Walter Stewart’s name lives on as the answer to the trivia question, “Who gave up Babe Ruth’s 60th home run in 1927?”
