Mel Ott was one of the reasons the Giants won their first World Championship since 1922. In the World Series against Washington, the future Hall of Famer was on fire, batting .389 with two home runs as New York won in five games. This is Ott’s second card in the 1933 Goudey set because the company added a post-season series depicting Giants and Senators players from that year’s Series. This example has very attractive pastel colors on the front and a clean back, rating a grade of PSA NM 7.
