Ticket stub from Game 3 of the 1932 World Series between the New York Yankees and Chicago Cubs, played at Wrigley Field in Chicago on October 1, 1932. This was the famous game in which Babe Ruth hit the legendary "Called Shot" home run. In the top of the first with two men on, Babe Ruth stepped to the plate and put a shot into deep right center for a 3-run homer off Cub pitcher Charlie Root. Ruth was said to have pointed toward the outfield before his momentous blast. Ticket displays well with relatively clean front and back. Color still strong. Corners about VG/VG-EX. A couple of light creases that do not break the front surface paper. One small ding at the upper right edge. Very nice overall eye appeal. A remarkable piece of Babe Ruth and World Series history.
