Pair of high quality first generation, Type 1 photos depicting two prolific New York Yankees World Championship teams from different eras. Includes an 8” by 10” image of the 1932 Yankees including Ruth, Gehrig, Lazzeri, McCarthy, et al at spring training. White lettering embedded in the image appears below the team reading “Yankees Team ‘32” in addition to “Thorne” photographer’s signature. The blank backed photo shows no significant condition faults, remaining in EX/MT-NM condition. Accompanying 8” by 10” photo of the 1951 Yankees including the tandem of DiMaggio and Mantle exclusive to this year remains in superb original condition as well. Black backed image is crystal clear, with crisp focus and contrast, remaining EX-MT minimally. Each photo includes a separate LOA from PSA/DNA (Type 1 – First Generation).
