In 1931, the USC Trojans won college football's National Championship. This is the official certificate of recognition awarded to USC for winning the Knute K. Rockne National Intercollegiate Memorial Football Trophy as the national champs. The certificate is signed by three of the famed Notre Dame "Four Horsemen" including Elmer F. Layden, Donald C. Miller and Harry A. Stuhldreher. It is also signed by Frank G. Dickinson of the Dickinson Rating System. Great history behind the Fighting Irish football program within this lot.
