Unidentified baseball signed by New York Yankee Hall of Famer Lou Gehrig and newly arrived Boston Brave Hall of Fame baseball legend Babe Ruth, plus 8 others. Ruth is on the sweet spot with a 5-6/10 black ink signature. Gehrig, just to the left of the other sweet spot is about 4-5/10 in blue ink. Other players are: New York Yankees(4) - Red Rolfe, Don Heffner, Joe McCarthy(HOF)(very hard to read); Boston Braves(3) - Bob Smith, Tommy Thompson, Pinky Whitney; St. Louis Cardinals(1) - Ernie Orsatti. Ball has evenly toned over the years with some light soiling but most of the additional signatures are still easily readable.
