Eye appealing VG SGC 40 Lou Gehrig from the beautiful 1929 R316 Kashin Publications issue. This 3 1'2" by 4 1/2" inch card features the same photo used for the 2 Lou Gehrig cards in the 1933 Goudey Set. Very strong, clear black and white photo image. EX or better looking corners. Very clean front and back. 50/50 top to bottom and about 65/35 side to side. A very light, hard to see on front, diagonal crease across the lower right corner accounts for the VG-EX grade. Eye appeal beyond the grade!
