Graded SGC 30 GOOD 2. In 1929, Lou Gehrig was still in the early stages of his hall of fame career but his talents were already evident to the excited Yankees fans. This is a popular image of Gehrig in his classic batting stance also used for the other "W" issues and the 1933 Goudey series. Graded Good 2 by SGC there is some pink staining on the upper right and left borders. Centering is favorable top to bottom and left to right. Nothing detracts from the balck and white crisp image of the iron horse. Reverse has plenty of toning and another pinkish stain in the upper left quadrant.
