Written on the OAL baseball itself is 1928 World Series which was contested between the New York Yankees and the St. Louis Cardinals. The Bronx Bombers won the thrilling series 4-3. The green and red signature stitching, typical of the era, flows around this slightly toned baseball. Signatures from the Cardinals, are star second baseman, "The Fordham Flash" Frankie Frisch and tough to get signature of Manager Bill McKechnie. Frisch played eleven seasons with the Cardinals and in 1931, he was voted the Most Valuable Player in the National League after batting .311 with 10 home runs and 114 RBI. McKechnie was the first manager to win World Series titles with two different teams and when he ended his career with 1892 wins he ranked 4th all-time.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
