As did a variety of companies of the day Fro-Joy enlisted Babe Ruth to help endorse their ice cream product. Part of their advertising campaign included the issuing of this six-card baseball set. This complete original set printed on high quality semi-gloss black and white stock is in very attractive condition. Each card has been graded and encapsulated by PSA as follows: 1. George Herman ("Babe") Ruth (PSA EX 5); 2. Look Out Mr. Pitcher! (PSA VG-EX 4); 3. Bang! The Babe Lines One Out! (PSA NM 7 MC); 4. When The "Babe" Comes Home (PSA EX 5); 5. "Babe" Ruth's Grip! (PSA EX-MT 6); 6. Ruth is a Crack Fielder (PSA EX-MT 6). Included with the card set is a Fro-Joy premium photograph of Babe Ruth given away by the company as part of their redemption program. This premium features a great full-body shot of Ruth in a follow through batting pose adorned by his facsimile autograph. Framed. Visible area of premium appears to be in near mint condition. 7 items.
