Featured here is a vintage matte-finished signed and inscribed photograph of Charles Lindbergh dating to 1928. The near century old photo presents in EX or better conditon and Lindbergh's blue fountain pen signature has been awarded a NM-MT 8 grade by the experts at PSA/DNA. The 8" x 10" photo was taken outside of Louie's Lunch Room at Lambert Field, St. Louis, on May 11, 1927 - just before his historic New York to Paris flight. Signed and inscribed, "C. A. Lindbergh, Feb. 20, 1928." Verso bears the credit stamp of Mario Cavagnaro, a photographer who worked for the St. Louis Star during the period. The photo could very well earn a type 1 designation if sent to PSA for another look at their original photograph department.
