Ticket stub from Game 1 of the 1927 World Series between the New York Yankees and Pittsburgh Pirates at Forbes Field, Pittsburgh on October 5, 1927. The Yankees, on their way to a 4 game sweep, downed the Pirates 5-4 behind Babe Ruth's 3 hits and Lou Gehrig's 2 RBI's. Ticket has a crease across the center and several near the top. Small 3/8" by 1/2" tape stain at center back where ticket was once attached to an album page. Still displays very nicely from the front.
