Nice condition ticket stub from Game 3 of the 1927 World Series between the new York Yankees and the Pittsburgh Pirates. The 1927 Yankees, regarded by many as the greatest team ever, went on to sweep Pittsburgh 4 straight to capture the Series. In Game 3 at Yankee Stadium Herb Pennock was almost picture perfect retiring the first 22 Pirates in a row before giving up a one out single to Hall of Famer Pie Traynor. Lou Gehrig's 2 run triple in the first gave Pennock all the runs he needed. Babe Ruth would add a 3 run home run in the 7th on the way top an 8-1 Yankee victory. Mezzanine Rear Box Reserved Seat ticket stub displays very well, with bright color and printing. EX+ or better corners. One small crease at the lower left corner, otherwise crease free. Back is covered about 80% with very light CLEAR glue residue that does not hamper viewing any of the printed information. Tremendous eye appeal far beyond any technical grade.
