Neat pair of related New York Yankee team issued checks both relating to Hall of Fame catcher Bill Dickey. Both checks are in beautiful condition and have been signed by Hall of Fame owner Jacob Ruppert and long time executive Ed Barrow, both in perfect 9-10/10 looking steel tip pen dark black ink.

1) September 2, 1927 check made out to the owner of the Little Rock minor league baseball team for the outright transfer of catcher Bill Dickey to the Yankees.

2) June 16, 1930 payroll check made out to catcher Bill Dickey, signed by Dickey on the back in 9/10 black ink.
