Very nice looking program to the 1926 World Series between the New York Yankees and St. Louis Cardinals for games played at Sportsman's Park in St. Louis. Insides loaded with photos of the players and executives, statistics, plus plenty of period ads. Very neatly scored for the October 10, 1926 deciding Game 7 in which Grover Cleveland Alexander, after throwing a complete game victory the day before, came into the game in the 7th to strike out Tony Lazzeri with the bases loaded and 2 outs, then shut down the powerful Yankees the final 2 innings to preserve the 3-2 victory and win the World Championship. Covers fairly clean with some light creases, overall still in very nice condition. Inside pages in very nice condition. Spine does have some wear but still tight and in tack. Great looking vintage program!
