This interesting sepia toned image shows the great Cobb late in his career with the Detroit Tigers batting while wearing sunglasses. Cobb was recovering from eye surgery at the time, taking every precaution to protect his invaluable physical asset. Pencil notation on the back of the photo reads, "March 16. Cobb doing his stuff at training camp while wearing glasses". Additionaly, the initials "T.M." written in pencil suggest that the photo was shot by Tracy Mathewson. Photo remains in EX condition with hand cut edges.
