Cards were produced by San Francisco publishing firm Sports Company of America, for sporting goods giant A. G. Spalding & Brothers in 1926. They could be redeemed for 10 cents off Spalding equipment or for candy. Visually perfect looking card is snow white both front and back. Well centered with a strong black & white posed photo of Ruth. Corners appear very sharp. Beautiful example from Ruth's playing days of an issue you don't see that often.
