1) January 13, 1925 TSL on American Baseball Club of Philadelphia to Mickey Cochrane threatening him if he does not show up for spring training. "In the event that you should fail to report to our club as per your contract then it will be necessary for us to deduct, as a penalty for the failure to live up to your contract, the sum of fifty dollars per day for each day you are absent from our club". The go on further to say that if he fails to show up they might be forced to get "Mr. Landis, Commissioner of Baseball" involved. 2 page letter has been signed with a secretarial Connie mack signature. Letter in beautiful condition.

2) February 7, 1925 TSL American Baseball Club of Philadelphia to Mickey Cochrane which was sent along with a check for rail and meal fare plus instructions on how to get to Philadelphia and then on to Fort Meyers, Florida for spring training. Letter interestingly ends "Be sure to bring your shoes, glove and sweat-shirt. We will have your uniform". Letter also in beautiful shape and includes the original envelope to Cochrane.

Includes a letter of provenance from the Cochrane estate.
