Interesting 12" by 20" panoramic photo of the 1924 World Champion Washington Senators posed on the White House lawn with President Calvin Coolidge. Players are all dressed in suites and ties. Walter Johnson stands directly to the President's left. Identification below reads "President Coolidge & the Washington Base Ball Team on visit to the White House Sept. 2, 1924". Washington would take the World Series 4 games to 3 over the New York Giants a month later. Outstanding photo clarity. A pair of 1", 1 1/2" tears at the center left edge. Some light creasing from rolling. Would make a beautiful display piece once framed and matted. Photo was originally given to utility infielder Tommy Taylor, who's only year in the majors was 1924 with Washington.
