This lot features a beautiful VIII OLYMPIADE PARIS M CM XXIV DIPLOME presented to Florence Chambers, who finished in fourth place for the United States Swim Team in the 100-meter Backstroke competition. The document measures 19 1/2" wide by 25 1/2" high and features a classical, pastoral scene with a winged victory standing front and center. Given its size and age, it’s in remarkably well-preserved condition with only slight creasing and some discoloration on the edges.
