1922 marked the Yankees’ 20th year in New York and 22nd as a franchise. They finished the season with a record of 94-60 to win their second straight pennant (and second all-time), with star player Babe Ruth benched the first part of the season. Unfortunately, they lost the 1922 World Series to their landlords, the New York Giants, but turned around and beat them the next year when they moved into "The House That Ruth Built." Presented here is an incredibly scarce team-signed OAL (Ban Johnson) baseball from the 1922 American League Champions with 24 signatures including Hall of Famers Babe Ruth 6/10 on sweet spot), manager Miller Huggins and Waite Hoyt.

Other notables are Bob Meusel, Bob Shawkey, Carl Mays, Wally Pipp, Lefty O'Doul, Wally Schang, Joe Dugan, "Sad" Sam Jones, Whitey Witt, Frank Roth, Mike McNally, Clarley O'Leary (coach), Camp Skinner, Everett Scott, Aaron Ward, "Bullet" Joe Bush, Elmer Smith, Al DeVormer, Norm McMillan, Fred Hofmann and George Murray. Black ink autographs fall mostly in the 5/10 range. Ball remains in great shape (EX-MT) with just a few toned spots. Full LOA from PSA/DNA (AG03997).
