Nice actual black and white photo of Ty Cobb, considered by many as the greatest hitter of all time. Cobb would finish his career with a .367 lifetime average, a record that will probably never be broken. The W575-1 set, issued in 1921/22, is basically a blank backed strip card version of the American Caramel E121s. Card is very well centered with a clean front. Good photographic image. Back has a hand stamped ad for "Henry A. Johnson, Wholesale Confectioner".
