Attractive sheet music display piece featuring a crisp 3 7/8" by 5 5/8" black and white photo of 3 members of the 1911 World Champion Philadelphia Athletics - Chief bender, Jack Combs, and Cy Morgan. Appears the song was actually written by Detroit Tiger captain George Moriarity. Double mounted piece looks to be held in place by clear corner mounts. A little slight creasing at the left side but nothing that breaks the surface of the paper. Small tears at upper left edge and bottom right corner. 10" by 13" surface visible framed to a 15 1/2" by 19" overall size. The back states that when piece was framed in July 1994 conservation glass was used. Judging by the players associated with the song this item very well may be from the 1911-12 time period rather than the later 1919.
