Rare Press Ticket to the controversial 1919 World Series for Games 1, 2, 6, and 7, held at Redland Fields in Cincinnati. Game 1 saw Black Sox pitcher Ed Cicotte hit the first batter to let the gamblers know the "fix" was in on his way to losing 9-1. Co-conspirator Lefty Williams put the Sox in a hole by losing Game 2. Front displays about EX-MT aside from a very light surface crease at the lower left corner. The name of the original holder has been written in ink at the center where it says "Admit". Back is clean with a 3/16" by 3/8" area of paper loss. Outstanding piece of baseball history. The only Cincinnati Press ticket or stub slabbed so far by PSA. Stub has been slabbed AUTHENTIC by PSA.
