A special 6-1/2" x 11" Original News Service Type I Photograph of Shoeless Joe Jackson issued by Newspaper Enterprise Association.

The image is from the infamous 1919 World Series between Jackson's Chicago White Sox and the Cincinnati Reds. Jackson's left handed follow through is on display here, as he gazes toward the outfield following the flight of a ball off of his bat. The back of the image has the customary markings of a Type I photo.

PSA/DNA has neatly encapsulated this Type I photograph in a jumbo holder. Shoeless Joe is captured in a more innocent moment, before the turnmoil of the gambling scandal surfaced that would taint his legacy. Photo boasts incredible clarity and is an extremely rare batting picture of Jackson from the most famous fall classics of all time. There is also an LOA from PSA/DNA with the lot - scroll over all of the images to find the detailed LOA.
