Interesting pair of original actual stock certificates for two early teams from the Pacific Coast League, The Salt Lake City Bees and the Seattle Rainiers.
1) Certificate #452 for 10 shares of stock in the Salt Lake Baseball Club of the Pacific Coast League dated April 16th 1916 and signed by team president F. S. Murphy. Certificate in overall excellent condition with a small 3/4" tear at the lower left fold.
2) Certificate #226 for 100 shares of stock in the Seattle Rainier Baseball Club Inc dated August 22, 1939 and signed by team owner and president, Emil Sick. Sick owned the Rainier Brewing Company, after which the the team was named. Certificate is in outstanding condition with some minor foxing along the left edge and a small staple hole at the lower left hand corner.
