Today it along with the T206 Wagner it is the crown jewel of the hobby the embodiment of the purest elements of baseball card collecting. This outstanding looking example features a very sharp well-focused image of Ruth in the famous pitching pose as a member of the Boston Red Sox. The card is dead centered and clean both front and back. The reverse has advertising for the famous New York department store Gimbels. The overall eye appeal far exceeds the assigned grade.
