This 1912 silver gelatin photograph of Detroit Tigers slugger Sam Crawford was captured through the lens of renowned baseball photographer of the time, Charles Conlon. The action shot depicts the most impressive power hitter of the era watching his homer sail away. Crawford's fielders glove is even shown hanging out of his back pocket. Conlon's notes are handwritten on the reverse along with the date of 1912 written on the back from Ring magazine. The image is crystal clear and the overall condition is a 10/10 with a slight wrinkle in the top left quadrant.  The 7.5x9.25" comes encapsulated by PSA/DNA Type I (84248974).
