Very desirable card of Buck Weaver on the Chicago White Sox from the 1912 T207 Brown Border (Anonymous Back) issue. Cards of Weaver, a tragic figure among the White Sox players who threw the 1919 World Series to the Reds, are always in very high demand. The offered PR PSA 1 still retains decent eye appeal. Very strong and clear picture image. Corners are about VG. OK centering. Front clean. Back has a few smaller ares of staining but all text readable. The major distraction and the reason for the low grade is a small hole and some creasing to the left of Weaver' cap. Excellent chance to pick up the first major league card of Weaver, banned for life from baseball, not for taking money, but for not reporting what he had heard.
