Offered is one of the key cards from the infamous gold border T205 issue that are often difficult to find in optimal condition. The Ty Cobb featured here displays extremely well with a crystal clear image of the most famous centerfielder in Detroit Tigers history. The gold borders are fairly well preserved for the issue and have some slight toning and staining that is very common on the gold borders from this set. Centering is favored 60-40 right to left and the top to bottom ratio is pretty well balanced. The Polar Bear back is actually pretty clean with some mild tone spots throughout but overall nice. Graded PSA VG+ 3.5 by PSA, this key card continues to gain steam in the marketplace and will forever be a staple in the card collecting hobby both as an investment and keepsake.
